Director, Executive & Enterprise Communications

social media channels have more than 3 million followers.
Partner with US Pharma leaders to develop and coordinate strategic
internal and external communications plans that drive business
objectives, employee engagement and culture change.
\*Strategic Partnering: Forms partnerships Executive Team members,
Global/Cross-Divisional colleagues, Communications Business Partners and
other key partners to provide strategic counsel and develop and
implement communications strategies that support enterprise-wide
priorities. Coaches and supports leaders in communications
responsibilities. Builds proficiencies and provides tools for leaders to
create communications and translate initiatives into relevant messages
and actions for teams.
\*Team/Project Leadership and Change Management: Takes leadership role
empower and encourage US Pharma Associate Engagement team and to
conceive, build and effectively execute crucial communications plans and
change management initiatives that have enterprise impact. Builds
strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enable
effective strategy planning and implementation. Coordinates with other
Novartis Franchises/Functions/Divisions on communications issues as
needed.
\*Executive Communications: Drive business priorities and cultural
ambitions by delivering executive visibility strategy for the US Pharma
Leader(s), including management of social media channels, strategic
media relations and external speaking engagements. This includes
producing multimedia content, employee engagement events (e.g., MeetUps,
Town Halls, etc) and developing thought leadership platforms.
\*Content Strategy and Measurement: Crafts narratives to articulate
business strategies and curates editorial news flow and content across
channels. Develops metrics to assess initiatives and engagement.
Conducts ongoing feedback analysis with key audiences. Measures key
outcomes and adapts and evolves strategy to support engagement.
\*Innovation: Applies digital acumen and forward thinking to get ahead
of trends, leverage analytics to shape communications and identify new,
innovative approaches to engage and stay relevant with employees.
\*Agency/Resource Management: Identifies, manages and motivates agency
partners as needed to deliver strategic, relevant and innovative
programs to stakeholders; manage relationships and ensure the best teams
and talent in place to support the business.

Minimum requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required (preferred concentration in communications,
public relations or related subject area).
Experience:
10+ years of direct experience in communications or related field with
strong emphasis on internal communications, organizational change, and
employee engagement is required.
Knowledge of omnichannel programming and digital marketing a plus.
Experience with social media is required.
Strong matrix management and influencing expertise to manage multiple
sophisticated issues and projects.
Experience effectively adapting communications and technologies to drive
employee engagement.
Outstanding planning and resource leadership skills and experience.
Skills:
Exceptional business and written communication skills.
Excellent collaborator with a customer focused approach.
Demonstrated ability to build trust with all partners and influence
decision making across business.
Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is a plus
Ability to prioritize and maximize limited resources to achieve goals.
