YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Sourcing Specialist, are to:

Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience through all Talent Acquisition touch points to enhance Bayer's Employer Brand;
Partner on the Bayer TA strategy implementation by aligning external labor market realities with internal business demand for high impact, low availability critical talent segments (Sourcing and Recruiting Advanced "Tier 2" and "Tier "1" positions as well);
Ensure detailed understanding of Bayer's talent segmentation and each position in own area of responsibility in particular;
Identify and implement innovative search techniques, both online and offline, to generate talent pipelines necessary to staff future positions, well versed in the external labor market, understand how the financials of the organization and critical selling story in order to attract the right talent for Bayer;
Reduce dependency on external recruiting firms thereby reducing cost and minimizing the disruption of vacancy on productivity;
Solicit potential "ready now" candidates with open positions, cultivate relationships continuously and encourage the candidate to apply;
Bring forward top external talent to business leaders for exploratory conversations;
Contribute to target group analyses and keep close contacts with TA SMEs such as Talent Marketing Experts;
Serve as a reliable, critical partner for Senior Recruiters, keeping them always informed on the status of your sourcing activities so that they can act as informed interfaces and "project leads" towards the hiring manager customers;
Establish and maintain relationships with Senior Recruiters to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs;
Build collaborative relationships with the HRBP's and Business Leaders, in conjunction with the Senior Recruiters in order to understand the future strategy of the business while bringing top talent forward;
Work on critical roles within TA - extremely hard to fill and/or competitive in nature;
Collaborate with TA Leads and/or Head of TA for the U.S. to work on confidential or highly visible positions that would have previously gone to a retained search firm;
Source diverse talent pool for Bayer's critical talent segments leveraging use of network contacts, database searches, referrals and knowledge of industry conferences where to find the top external talent;
Make initial candidate contact with the emphasis on networking to develop candidate leads and to develop their interest level in company opportunities, as well as the follow-up and hand-over;
Leverage the full range of internal and external sources of internal and external candidates for Bayer, thus also promoting internal mobility within Bayer;
Comply with laws and regulations when applying different sourcing practices;
Execute the pre-screening of your candidates while providing the Bayer "Selling story" in order to attract passive talent to Bayer;
Constantly manage the pool of candidates within your responsibility and brief Senior Recruiters about the size of possible candidate pools prior to the intake meeting;
Maintain the process status in Bayer's CRM tool and E Recruiting/ Applicant Tracking System by always ensuring system accuracy as basis for solid Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting;
Perform other recruitment activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience or a Master's degree with at least five years in Recruiting or Talent Acquisition;
Broad understanding of recruiting principles and best practices;
Deep experience with advanced internet searches, cold calling, networking, database mining, referrals and other advanced recruitment techniques;
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the external labor market - educate Business leaders and HR as to what is going on in the market;
Strive to be the Sourcing consultant to our internal team;
Comprehensive knowledge of local legal regulations regarding recruiting/sourcing; strong consulting and networking skills;
Ability to solve problems, think creatively, and adapt to a dynamic market;
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
Experience sourcing and building talent pipelines for hard to fill roles;
Demonstrated strong business and financial acumen;
Ability to understand the specific role requirements and have a clear understanding of labor market availability;
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple searches, projects, and client relationships;
Possess ability to build effective relationship with Senior Recruiter;
Ability to establish, manage and maintain business/client relationships;
Strong attention to detail;
Strong communication - both written and verbal;
Excellent knowledge in Social Media Platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, and other).

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge in SuccessFactors Recruiting Management Module;
Knowledge in CRM-Tool.
