Job Description



The primary responsibilities of this role, Ld Data & Analytics ArchitectConsumer Health NA, are to:

Define, implement and continuously enhance the data and analytics technology stack in alignment with the overall analytics technology strategy;
Design and implement an integrated (global and North America) analytics data architecture as a solid foundation in order to deliver fit-for purpose and scalable analytics products/projects taking regulatory requirements (e.g. data privacy, GxP) into account;
Define, build and maintain the data assets for North America;
Lead the integration of different data sources (channel data, market data, sell-in/sell-out, orders, warehouse and transportation data from global sources and local sources);
Create a data management strategy and processes according to the F.A.I.R. data principles in close alignment with business functions (e.g. account teams, consumer and market Insights teams, supply analytics teams);
Collaborate with data asset teams from other organizational units (e.g. from Enabling Functions), other analytics and data science teams from different organizations (business as well as IT) and other non-analytics IT-functions such as e.g. platform product managers or integration architects as technical lead for analytics in order to deliver analytics products fit for purpose;
Steer external providers, guide them as architect, provide cost and time estimations, challenge vendor on costs and assure quality delivery of vendor implementations as well as proper handover to support, together with the analytical product owner.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar with at least 10 years of working experience in the field of data and analytics in different data areas (e.g. Channel Analytics, market insights generation, digital analytics or supply analytics) OR Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or similar with at least 12 years of working experience in the field of data and analytics in different data areas (e.g. Channel Analytics, market insights generation, digital analytics or supply analytics);
Have excellent data analytics technical knowledge (Cloud AWS and Azure; Snowflake, data architecture, data integration and data modelling; database techniques as SQL and BI/reporting solutions);
Have profound data knowledge (e.g. financial data (COPA), SD, market data from Profitero, IQVIA or similar vendors, sell-in/sell-out, digital channel data; retailer data, warehouse and transportation data) as well as the needed business process knowhow (marketing and commercial, order to cash and supply chain);
Have very good interpersonal and communication skills, the capability to listen actively and advisory and presentation skills;
Have problem-solving and analysis skills and an excellent business judgement;
Are used to work in an Intercultural environment and have willingness to travel;
Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
