This is an excellent opportunity for a Platform Product Owner & Use Case Solution Architecture Lead (Director) to join a growing team with focus on Advanced Analytics across a wide range of areas within the pharmaceutical function and to help shape the future direction of Technology Transformation across a major organization.
This opportunity is located at the Novartis East Hanover site, and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Relocation assistance may be available.
The successful applicant will serve as focal point to drive technology delivery product roadmap and use case solution architecture (across domains / business capability areas) in the area of big data and analytics platform.
We are building a global Technology Transformation team with industry leading- and cutting-edge informatics capabilities across the full spectrum of development. We will also be developing new alliances and partnerships while collaborating with other Healthcare & Technology providers to increase access to the rapidly developing external technology opportunities. This knowledge will be combined with a delivery culture where pragmatic decision-making and agile implementation is embraced.
What will you be responsible for ?
\*Drive technology product roadmap for the enterprise wide big data platforms. Coordinate with platform delivery teams to execute on the roadmap
\*Chair sounding board meetings with various stakeholders to understand platform / technology gaps and prioritize in the roadmap
\*Lead the team of solution architects across the different business domains to drive use case technical architecture and fitment to the Novartis Big Data Platform. Review and approve detailed design for use cases
\*Collaborate with Platform, Integration and Domain architects Integration to define patterns and tools & to address business capabilities to address business requirements
\*Bridge between platform use case architecture team and use case project delivery teams
\*Contribute to enterprise technology direction, strategy, and roadmap for cross-functional platforms and systems in alignment with strategic priorities
\*Responsible for ensuring technology (platform and systems) needs are met at scale for the enterprise, following industry best practices and continuous improvement
\*Define and execute technology delivery strategy catering to multiple business areas with an aim of bringing cutting-edge innovation, process standardization across platforms and systems with high focus on user experience and scalability.
\*Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders in Technology Transformation and Business teams
\*Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness
\*Bring deep technology expertise to the team and develop an environment, which fosters innovation
\*Manage, coaches and oversees external resources in line with their targets, roles and responsibilities and the Novartis values & behaviors

What You'll Bring to the Role ?
\*University degree in the computational field, including but not limited to Computer Science, Data Science, and Information Technology or any other related area.
\*Minimum of 12 to 15+ relevant years of experience in technology platforms and business analytics in global matrix environment
\*5+ years of experience in Big Data and Advanced Analytics
\* Fluency in AWS and Azure Cloud technologies
\* Thought leadership in areas such Product management, DevOps, Solution architecture, Software development and Systems integration and build
\*Demonstrated people management and leadership of large cross-geographies, cross-functional and/or cross-divisional technology teams
\*Experience of working with multiple third party vendors, strong customer focus
\*Demonstrated experience in influencing multiple stakeholders in a global matrix organization
\*Detailed understanding of current technologies and trends, and their application
