Human Resources Business Partner

The Director, HRBP develops and builds strong relationships with company leadership, management and employees and works at a both tactical and strategic level to manage policies and procedures at work.
Works closely with assigned business leader(s) to drive top performance.
Identify gaps, develop solutions and drive improvements through data-driven decision making.
Interpret key HR metrics to deliver customized action planning and support .
Leads change management and culture initiatives in partnership with the leadership team.
Provide HR input into cross-functional Company initiatives and process/policy development, implementation and application.
Lead ad hoc projects and initiatives that impact the general employee population with potential global reach.
Ensures consistency in the application and enforcement of policies and procedures and compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
Develops strategies and prioritizes activities to address the human resource implications of business goals.
Provides executive coaching and development to leaders.
Partners with the COE leaders (Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition) to drive overall organization effectiveness and functional excellence.
Provides counsel on employee relations issues in the local scope of responsibilities.
Ability to create and understand the overall business strategy, align HR strategies and execute against them.
Demonstrated ability in managing and resolving conflict with long-term solutions.
Coach/mentor senior leaders for leadership development, succession planning and talent management.
Thought partner for organizational development with emphasis on fostering employee engagement and retention leveraging the Ferring Leadership Principles.
10 plus years of progressive HR experience. Experience supporting pharmaceutical commercial organizations a plus.
HR business partner experience in a global and matrixed organization preferred.
Bachelor degree required, MBA or Master's degree preferred.
Proficiency in Workday a plus.
Must possess a strong ability to cultivate a "team" atmosphere throughout the organization; minimum of 2 years of experience effectively managing and developing direct reports.
Customer focused / Service partnership mindset.
Ability to flex depending on audience / high EQ and social awareness.
Effective communicator - both written and oral.
