The Senior Process Owner is responsible for managing the Wax Process throughout the Casting Plant and is responsible for ensuring that the Wax processes are performed in compliance with the methods, materials, and equipment specifications.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
Expected to assist in the implementation of Howmet's EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations.

Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.

Approve all new and revised instructions in the assigned process area.
Responsible for determination of the root cause of any deviation from critical process specifications and provide technical support to Process Engineering to resolve production and process related issues.
Conduct monthly ASAT Compliance report.
Responsible for reporting the critical process status on daily and monthly basis to the Engineering Manager.
Responsible for daily interface and communication of issues with manufacturing, maintenance, facilities personnel responsible for the casting areas
Institute proper project monitoring follow up and feedback system to insure financial and contract targets are met. (yields, rework).
Foster continuous improvement utilizing Process management designed experiments, IPM and SPC, Cpk, DMAIC.
Demonstrates considerable ingenuity and creativity while recognizing prudent risk.
As a recognized expert in the Wax process technology area, provide technical guidance to management and peers in areas of current or potential needs of the plant.
Routinely review process for adherence to established techniques and to ensure the repeatability of approved process.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering re related field of study
3 years' experience in an engineering function.
