As a Home Infusion Nurse Clinician with Community, you will:
Our nurses get to provide direct patient care to our patients and families in the comfort of their own homes.
Home Care provides the opportunity to promote independence and provide in a familiar environment.
Our services include: Insertion of IV lines, Instructions of self-administration in a variety of therapies such as antibiotics, hydration, TPN, IVIG, and pain management and line care (PICC's, Midlines, PORT's and peripherals).
Work independently with excellent problem solving skills as well as communication with physicians and pharmacists daily.
Monitor and maintain infusion sites and system; evaluate responses to prescribed therapy.
100% remote electronic medical records, computer charting done in real time.
Coordinate schedule of patient visits and phone calls.
Take on-call duty nights, weekends and holidays as assigned, but no more than one night per week and one weekend in three.
Education and/or Experience:
* NJ license required with a minimum of two years nursing experience
* Prior experience in Home Infusion Therapy preferred( PICC lines, PORT's, CADD pumps etc.)
* Midline placement Preferred
* Valid driver's license and Auto with proof of insurance
* Advanced certification and training preferred (CRNI, etc.)
* Competency in patient care standards required for safe delivery of services and infusion skill sets applicable to agency programs and service needs.
* Required knowledge of computer systems and software applications to effectively communicate and document care provided.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
