Regional Medical Director- IHD

Almost 2M patients suffer from plaque psoriasis in the US, and while 90% of them have received a diagnosis, only ~150k of them are treated with biologic therapies. The past 5 years have registered many new biologic therapies entering the moderate-to-severe PsO landscape, bringing HCPs and patients expectations for the efficacy-safety trade off to new levels, and still highlighting unmet need for the patients suffering from this chronic, many times debilitating condition.
Come to an industry leader where you will provide critical input into strategic planning, tactical planning and implementation, as well as budget planning. The Regional Medical Director will also drive strong collaboration and co-leadership of the products with Global, US Medical, US Marketing, and US Sales colleagues. Specific responsibilities will include execution of clinical trials in dermatology, leadership of advisory boards and other meetings with Medical Experts, development of the data generation plan and Medical communications strategy/implementation, conducting field force training, active participation in promotional material development and review, and various internal and external presentations.
Your responsibilities will include:
\*Regional Medical Plan - Develop and execute Regional strategic and tactical plan to ad-dress educational gaps among Dermatologists and Allergists
\*Medical Education - Identify knowledge gaps within specialist audience. Develop and deliver virtual and live educational programs, develop metrics, measure success
\*Professional Society Engagement - Partner with society leadership to identify educational projects, including at local and regional conferences
\*Healthcare Systems, Large Group Practices - Identify cross-discipline educational pro-grams in large organizational settings
\*Medical Commercial Collaboration - Collaborate with other field-based colleagues (eg, Thought Leader Liaisons, MSLs) to ensure coordinated external engagement
\*Project Support for MSLs - Support MSL-driven Regional Medical Expert engagement through project development and execution.

Minimum requirements
\*MD or DO degree required.
\*For MDs/DOs, completion of residency in Dermatology or Allergy and Board Certification preferred.
\*Minimum 3 years experience in Medical Affairs roles in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Academic institution/clinical practice experience may also be considered.
\*Solid understanding of the Allergy and/or Dermatology customer
\*Expert knowledge of Allergy and/or Dermatology
\*Established relationships with Regional Allergy and/or Dermatology HCPs (strongly preferred)
\*Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
\*Action orientation. Able to generate new, innovative ideas and execute
\*Results focused. Able to develop project metrics and demonstrate achievement .
