Weichert Co. is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst at the corporate offices in Morris Plains, NJ. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing, reviewing and coordinating the accounting of employee incentive compensations for Weichert Realtors. The position is responsible for the accuracy of bonus, commission and monthly compensation payments.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintains all final approved electronic copies of contracts, allowing for easy reference.
Reviews and abstracts all related employee contracts to ensure pertinent information is summarized and captured while certifying the accuracy of the bonus calculations.
Develops standard compensation workbooks to create process efficiencies while ensuring calculation accuracy.
Performs all true up calculations for new and updated contract changes.
Reviews and approves all bi-weekly manager incentives on real estate transactions for payroll processing.
Maintains and updates the individual manager compensation excel files for the monthly true up payment, based on financial results.
Updates the RVP & Manager Target/Goal excel bonus files on a quarterly basis for approval and payroll processing.
Computes and resets the quarterly manager Target/Goal objectives and circulates contract addendum updates for approval. Ensures the addendum is properly approved and returned for safe keeping.
Calculates and provides all year-end bonuses and true ups with all the necessary contract support attached on an annual basis.
Coordinates and secures all necessary approvals for annual and quarterly bonus payments.
Coordinates and works with the accounting team to analyze financial results in order to properly forecast bonus requirements.
Prepares journal entries for manager review and entry.
Coordinates the payment of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates commissions/incentives.
Updates the Residential Manager compensation projection modeling file annually and provides it to the SVP's administrative assistant for use in contract modeling and changes.
Prepares monthly summary reporting and Ad Hoc compensation analyses.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting strongly preferred
Valid driver's license
Five (5) or more years of relevant experience
Strong excel experience with proven success in financial modeling and analytics
Experience using applicable user-based accounting and financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Accounting Software and Power BI reporting preferred
Thorough knowledge of the technical aspects of accounting analyses and financial statements
Strong analytical and research skills
Strong attention to detail
Good oral and written communications skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, including advanced Excel skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
