Weichert Co is hiring a Facility Maintenance Coordinator in Morris Plains, NJ.

The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will provide operational and administrative support to the Operations and Special Projects departments as it relates to building maintenance. The position assists and coordinates office setup and cleanout tasks i.e. office painting, furniture and equipment moving and assembly. He/She is also responsible for supporting the administrative duties for both departments including mailroom operations.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manages scheduled building maintenance and service requests for campus and surrounding buildings, as well as sales offices.

Assists in the moving of furniture, materials, and equipment, as needed. Assists with painting, furniture assembly, and/or office setup or cleanout, as needed. Participates in Sales Office opening and closing processes.

Follows up on projects and regularly communicates with appropriate individuals to receive/provide status updates.

Acts as a point of contact with other departments and outside vendors on operational and facilities service requests.

Works with vendors (General Contractors, HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing) to ensure campus services are delivered as expected.

Monitors the department's email inbox and emergency phone line.

Support all aspects of mailroom operations.

Completes administrative office duties for both departments including answering the phone, equipment maintenance, monitoring supplies, sorting and distributing mail, etc.

Supports the Facilities Management Director and Operations Manager with various projects and initiatives.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Two (2) or more years of related experience preferred

Excellent organization skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong oral and written communications skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
