This position will provide paralegal and administrative support for various functions within Corporate Governance, including supporting board operations and assisting with Zoetis' subsidiary governance.
The candidate, among other qualities, should have the ability to work effectively across functional lines and to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Given the frequent direct interaction of this role with our Board of Directors and senior management, the candidate must be highly professional, thoughtful and diplomatic - and possess strong writing, verbal and listening skills. As part of the Corporate Governance team, this position will support the various functions within Corporate Governance, including subsidiary management, shareholder communications, and securities law and NYSE compliance. Responsibilities will include, among other things:
Assisting with the planning and execution of our Board, Committee and shareholder meetings;
Managing the Zoetis corporate governance calendar and working with the Office of the CEO regarding board logistics and compensation;
Assisting with the maintenance of the Company's subsidiary corporate records;
Assisting with corporate reorganizations and integrations;
Monitoring, tracking and responding to shareholder and other communications;
Assisting with securities law compliance, including Section 16 and other SEC filings, and NYSE notifications and compliance;
Various administrative tasks including managing payments and expenses; and
Conducting research on corporate governance trends and requirements.
The role may be called upon to handle or lead ad hoc work streams/projects as needs arise.
Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies required
At least 3 years of relevant experience; Prior company or law firm experience preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work flexible hours with occasional travel
