In an effort to build out world-class capabilities in Data Governance and Enterprise Data Management, the CIT Group is in the process of strengthening their capabilities through the design, build-out, and operation of key process and technologies. Supporting this effort, the organization is working to identify an individual that will instantiate a Data Integrity Group that will be accountable for assuring that data across the organization is recognized as having a high level of integrity and therefore trusted by the business and leadership. This individual will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with key business units to identify, define and prioritize data that is deemed critical to CIT's current and future initiatives
  • Identifying and maintaining metadata for data deemed critical to the business
  • Working with key business units to identify and operationalize Data Quality Rules through the design of both automated and manual processes, and perform necessary root cause analysis and remediation as governed by Service Level Agreements in accordance with Data Management Policies and Standards
  • Define Key Performance Indicators and implement Metrics and related thresholds that will work to assure that CIT can perform regular improvement to their Data Governance and Data Management capabilities and produce the necessary management level reporting
  • Assist in providing input to the development and regular maintenance of Data Management Policies and Standards


  • Defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in support of data integrity requirements
  • Developing templates for Data Quality Rule capture, verification, and validation
  • Developing metrics supporting Data Quality Rule performance and processes
  • Supporting Data Quality Rule review and continuous improvement
  • Developing templates that will support the collection and management of metadata as defined by Data Governance and Enterprise Data Management Policies and Standards
  • Development of Business Requirements supporting Data Quality Rule definition, execution, measurement, reporting, issue and remediation, and change management
  • Develop process flows in accordance with industry recognized best practices
    Familiarity with the interpreting Data Governance and Enterprise Data Management Policies and Standards
  • Experience working with Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Audit, Compliance, Information Technology, and other operational business units
  • Familiarity with any Data Quality and Metadata Management tools and platforms such as Denodo and Collibra is a plus
  • Excellent communication and written skills are a must.
