This role will be responsible for driving Medical Content Enablement services across Medical Affairs across all regions. The Medical Content Enablement Lead will strategically collaborate with Medical Affairs Leads, Medical Excellence Leads, Medical Operations Partners (MOPs) and other Regional Leads across HCP & Patient Marketing Enablement to deliver and activate key global content services, including:
Partnering with the Content Enablement Vertical Lead, Service Design Owners and BM 3.3 Agile Teams to activate and operationalize Bold Move 3.3 priorities
Operationalizing and driving continuous process improvements across Medical Affairs groups to advance content capabilities and operations
Driving adoption and change management for Content Production & Adaptation Services (i.e. Content Factory, AV Studio)
Evaluation for Medical Affairs and potential adoption of other content creation solutions such as CANVAS Content Builders, Agile/Modular Content Development Approaches and Glocal Re-use/Re-purpose Use Cases
Management & Oversight of Medical content management systems and alignment across the Business Units to consolidate solutions into one system across all Medical Affairs and ensure Our Collective Advantage
Collaborate with Medical Affairs Leaders, Medical Governance, Global Medical Quality Governance and other key stakeholders on updates to Policies, Procedures & Addendums, implementation / deployment / training of enhancements and supporting execution of local corporate audits.
The role will partner closely with the Medical Operations Partners and Medical Service Design Owner as well as Bold Move Design Owners (as needed) to support and enable service improvements for Medical Affairs within this service vertical.
A critical part of this role will be to lead the oversight of ongoing projects related to Medical Affairs content approval and management and the design and migration to a single, end-to-end, content management system across all Medical Affairs which is aligned and connected with Galaxy and other Pfizer systems as appropriate. This colleague will ensure consistency and alignment building in approaches to support more effective and efficient approval of traditional and digital content within the new Glocal way of working. In addition, this colleague will play a key role in enhancing and operationalizing the processes necessary to expand operations, enabling decoupled digital adaptation and production and increased content reuse and repurpose.
The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to improving HCP engagement, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to quickly understand and optimize processes and drive alignment and change.

Accountable for the Content Enablement remit for Medical Affairs across all functions and geographies

Collaborates with the Content Enablement Service Vertical Lead and other Regional Leads to deliver strategic solutions that advance and optimize content under a globally connected, locally-embedded model
Reports to the Content Enablement Vertical Lead
Leads Content Enablement services for Medical Affairs across all regions: Enables production, curation and reuse of content according to business requests for a range of channels. Supports the compliant review, approval & distribution of Medical Affairs content.
Identifies opportunities for improving Content Enablement service delivery in Medical Affairs: Streamlines, aligns and scales systems across Medical Affairs across all geographies. Identifies needs for innovation or operational support. Drives coordination across regions and BUs. Improves quality, consistency (One Pfizer), and compliance across BUs and regions.
Partners across business and within Patient & HCP Marketing Enablement group - in defining priorities and allocating resources to drive efficient support for Medical Affairs: Possesses a deep understanding of the roles and responsibilities of Medical Affairs teams and BU strategies to determine key priorities and their impact on Content Enablement activities. Proactively engages with Medical Ops Partners (MOPs) and BU leads to understand and 1) ensure alignment of Biopharma Ops' client strategies in Medical Affairs and 2) determines optimal resource allocation and investment that enables efficient and high-quality HCP engagement.
BA Required; MBA or equivalent Master's-level education preferred
10+ years of pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs roles or support roles
Fluency in English required
