The Sr. Manager, NPC&PS position will contribute to the development of the Pharmaceuticals portfolio in the US. The position will be responsible for the contributions to commercial product development and assessment of business development opportunities across a broad range of therapeutic areas to secure future sales and profits for US Pharma. This position will support ensuring optimal and cross functionally aligned US commercial input into Global Research and Development and Global Strategic Marketing. The incumbent will contribute to the development of a clear and impactful US commercial position so that it is able to be well integrated into comprehensive global plans which provide sustainable competitive advantage and the greatest chance of US commercial success. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the US Commercial Development Teams (CDTs) within assigned therapeutic areas and contributing to developing/implementing plans to help prepare "the product for the market and the market for the product".
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager - Specialty New Product Commercial Strategy, are to:
Support all commercial aspects of pipeline projects, including but not limited to market understanding/buying process, customer segmentation, product/portfolio positioning, market access and pricing, competitive landscape, product and portfolio strategies, communication strategies, advocacy and opinion leader development;
Contribute to cross functional alignment on all pipeline and BD&L related topics to ensure rigorous, fact-based and consistent input and messaging within U.S. and global communities, and cross-portfolio perspectives for U.S., including implications for pipeline, preparation of forecasts and business cases;
Collaborate closely with U.S. and global commercial counterparts and GPT colleagues to ensure U.S. voice is influential and impactful, always driving a "solution-oriented" approach to challenges and conflicts, ensuring U.S. position is well articulated and defended/supported;
Use the Commercial Development Team (CDT) platform, contribute to completion of documents which support a disciplined thought process and provide a basis for capturing the work of the team and rationale for recommendations;
Review and synthesize complex information from multiple sources to support development of U.S. position on assigned pipeline and BD&L project topics, under the supervision of senior New Product Commercialization (NPC) and Portfolio Strategy (PS) team members;
Work closely with NPC and PS Strategic Intelligence and Operations;
Lead to develop and review market characterization, and with Medical Affairs / Market Access to develop objectives and materials for Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and Payer Advisory Boards;
Contribute to an environment that fosters learning, open communication and teamwork to maintain and expand capabilities and promote inclusion and diversity;
Perform all the above with supervision.

Bachelor's degree with at least five years of work experience including at least one year of Pharmaceutical Marketing Experience or Advanced degree with at least two and a half years of work experience including at least one year of Pharmaceutical Marketing Experience;
