Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Manager
Location: Mountain Lakes, NJ
Status: Full-time M-F 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (40 hours/week)
EUROIMMUN US is a MDSAP registered, ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR 820 compliant Medical device company that manufactures, distributes, and performs service and installation activities of in vitro diagnostic test kits and instruments used in the detection of autoimmune status, allergies, infectious diseases and antigen detection.
The incumbent for the position will be a valuable addition to the logistics department to support the needs of the department. The incumbent will play an active role in daily shipping, receiving, and packaging activities of medical device(s) and kit(s). Participate in various day-to-day activities within logistics and supply chain management including but not limited to inventory management, ordering planning / replenishing, packing, martial handling, warehousing etc. All work responsibilities to be performed carefully and accurately to meet the high quality standard of the company.
The SRL Manager will report directly to the Associate Director of Operations.
Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to,
Manage team of shipping and receiving specialists
Processing all incoming shipments into the EUROIMMUN US, Inc. facility and delivery of packages to the appropriate personnel
Handling the receipt of incoming products and all appropriate correlated paperwork to remain compliant with federal regulatory bodies and internal EUROIMMUN US quality standards
Insuring compliance for product labeling and storage
Preparing and organizing all outgoing shipments for customer orders, international shipments and events
Maintaining the organization of the refrigeration & warehouse inventory areas
Inventory control, forecasting and ordering from supplier
Organization and scheduling of incoming goods receiving and outgoing goods packaging
Ascertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery pallet
Loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner
Arrange for carrier vehicles or pickups
Maintain files of shipping records
Organize records of goods shipped
Implementation and organization of process improvements, efficiencies, etc.
Report pulling and compilation, analysis and submission to Director of Operations
Departmental cost tracking and analysis along with recommendation for cost savings and restructure

High school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Logistics / Material Management
Associate degree or BS/BA and 3 years of experience in Logistics / Material Management
Strong knowledge of SAP
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of import/export policy and tax regulations and gov. requirements and clearance agency.
Knowledge about needed documents for clearing shipments from FDA, CDC, FCC, etc. preferred
Strong knowledge in the management and function of warehousing / DC Management
Ability to handle fluctuations in workload and activities as they evolve
Good team player with a willingness to learn and take on new initiatives
Ability to multi-task and influence decision making processes and activities
