As part of Pfizer's dynamic PHI team you will have the important role of partnering with Cross-functional, GLocal and PHI team members to develop and implement the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Product Strategy for Pfizer's oral antiviral for treatment of COVID-19. You will lead the execution of HEOR studies and projects in alignment with strategy to support and enhance the value proposition. As a Senior Director, your innovative ideas and creative decision-making will accelerate and augment the strategic direction of your cross-functional team. Your ability to leverage constructive relationships will help you maximize the resources available within the organization. In partnership with GLocal, Cross-functional and PHI team, develop and implement the Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Product Strategy to support the value proposition of Pfizer's oral antiviral for the treatment of COVID-19.
Lead the execution of HEOR studies and projects in alignment with global strategy, such as real world evidence generation, economic modelling and health-related quality of life studies
Generate publications to communicate study findings in scientific channels
Support Country Health and Value colleagues in HTA launch readiness and submissions including development of comprehensive global tools such as dossiers and economic models to support pricing and market access
Assess and interpret relevant literature, communicate to internal stakeholders
Participate as core member in cross-functional workstreams and sub-teams
Ensure timely completion and quality of deliverables as well as budget/management with legal/compliance/SOPs
Assist in HEOR mentorship and capability development
Represent Pfizer's interests in high level interactions with influential bodies.
Effectively liaise and build strategic partnerships internally and externally.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
10+ years pharmaceutical industry or related experience including Global launch experience in HEOR capacity
Substantial technical knowledge and extensive experience of planning and executing on HEOR strategy (in particular real world evidence, economic modelling) as well as global country support for reimbursement/HTA submissions)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects involving complex processes, significant budget, competing deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities
Wide professional networks and established reputation within external KOL community
Ability to influence key members of scientific and commercial teams constructively and without conflict
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Strong collaborator and team-player
PhD or similar advanced degree in health services research, public health, epidemiology or health economics
Strong working knowledge of technical and methodological aspects of registries and observational study design and implementation in US and other countries (real world evidence)
In depth understanding of pharmacoeconomics including advanced modelling techniques, health-related Quality of Life and macroeconomics
COVID-19 therapeutic area knowledge
