This position is one of four HFM/FDMEE functional experts responsible for the support of approximately 320 business units into the Mars Inc. legal entity reporting system, HFM, and the front-end data load system, FDMEE as well as ensuring that the data consolidated in HFM is reported accurately, on-time and ties in summary to the Mars Inc Management Reporting System (Helios
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's in accounting, finance, or equivalent
2 years of experience performing consolidations in a large multinational company.
Good understanding of US GAAP
Advanced Excel Skills
Working knowledge of Consolidation Systems, HFM/FDMEE experience a plus
Essbase and Smartview experience a plus
What will be your key responsibilities?
Support the HFM submission of approximately 320 Mars business units during the periodic close process.
Manage and reconcile the intercompany account balances at the Mars Inc level with support of 5 offshore business partners and present findings during periodic closing meetings.
Work closely with HFM Systems Application manager in testing and documenting system changes and provide training to end users.
Assist with the management of the HFM and FDMEE systems to ensure availability to users and proper recording and reporting of financial data.
Assist with the Mars Inc Equity Control Process and Equity Roll forward at period end.
Maintain chart of account cross reference mapping file between all financial system used at Mars.
Partners with Management Reporting Team to ensure all changes to management reporting are properly reflected in HFM.
Fulfill adhoc requests from business units, external reporting, tax and other key business partners.
