Come and join our US Oncology Commercial Analytics organization today as an Associate Director, Business Insights & Market Research ! You will be joining an organization embedded within the business that will proactively bring insights to the business to support strategic business decisions.

We are currently actively recruiting talents who will support these 2 key therapeutic areas :

  • 2x Solid Tumor positions
  • Hematology

The purpose of the role is to develop and execute marketing research programs and analyses providing strategic insights which support long term business goals with significant potential to impact company earnings.

This opportunity is located at the Novartis East Hanover site, and will not have the ability to be located remotely.

What will you be responsible for?
\* Gather market and patient insights including: insight mining, positioning, managing patient models, market and competitive analysis, landscape assessments using both primary & secondary information, benchmarking, and opportunity evaluation.
\* Responsible for marketing research supporting potential new agents, as well as ad hoc research as needed.
\* Identify issues and opportunities, define and prioritize information needs, creatively apply market research techniques to answer questions, and effectively develop and communicate actionable recommendations to all levels of management.

Minimum requirements

What will you bring to the role?

\* BS / BA required
\* 5+ years of experience in the design and execution of primary and secondary research
\* Executive poise / presence-ability to present regularly to leadership
\* Intellectual curiosity-true interest and passion for using research & analytics to uncover insights
\* Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace; knowledge of solid tumor or hematology market is a plus
\* Knowledge of marketing research databases
\* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
\* Excellent communication skills. Strong ability to express insights and recommendations using both written and verbal communications
\* Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to meeting the business needs. Must be able to work well both independently as well as part of a broad team
\* This opportunity is located at the Novartis East Hanover site, and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Relocation Assistance may be available.
