Location: Parsippany; Flexible to US Remote

This position within the Zoetis Global Diagnostics organization drives insights into Global diagnostics trends and capabilities around the world. The Global DX Market Analytics Lead provides database and analytical support for all commercial initiatives and programs, from sales and market trends to customer lifetime value analysis in both large and small markets alike. The position includes primary responsibility for proactive data analysis as well as accountability for ensuring complete database population for information including (but not limited to) customer usage, instrument placements, cross-portfolio analysis, sales trends, competitor trending, attrition understanding, utilization growth, pricing impact, etc. In addition, this role builds, drives alignment and delivers the quarterly forecasting process (LE1 through LE4 estimates), OpPlan analytics, quarterly competitor trends and evolution index, etc. In summary, this role leads the understanding of all performance data across Point-of-Care, Ref labs, Virtual Lab, etc., in-concert with the broader cross-portfolio commercial success across all global markets.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducts analysis to identify and better understand business opportunities and market situations.
Provides summary findings for monthly/ quarterly market performance as necessary across geographies.
Accountable for ensuring delivery and understanding of business unit/ segment KPI performance, as directed, at the appropriate cadence across point-of-care, reference labs, virtual labs, and cross portfolio. Analysis would include market share understanding, gains/ losses, customer insights and learnings, and potential opportunities generated by analytical efforts
Collaborates with COE/ ZTD team to research data and report issues that affect ability to conduct analyses and develop ad hoc reports.
Delivers timely and accurate reporting and insight analysis to Commercial Teams worldwide including trending, utilization efforts, placement success challenges, lifetime value of customer analysis, etc.
Identifies key areas of growth and investment. Develops data to support key strategies, initiatives and offerings which maximize growth and expansion of the DX business in markets, leveraging the continuum of care and the broader Zoetis portfolio.
Designs, develops, and implements analysis across programs (DX only or cross-portfolio) in collaboration with global markets.
Establishes him/herself as the primary contact for internal users of sales and marketing analysis data
Responds to ad hoc reporting requests and questions as deemed appropriate
Drives for continuous improvement and automation of data collection, data management, reporting, and analysis processes. Maintains documentation on databases and processes as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in statistics, business analytics, computing, or related field. Advanced degree preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE: 7 or more years relevant work experience (animal health preferred but not required)

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated competence at preparing sophisticated analysis and market understanding
PL/SQL, SAS and other application programming and preparation of professional documentation
Advanced Excel, Access, and word processing skills,
working knowledge of database programming, report generation and dashboard automation
Experience in regression analysis, trending, and insight generation using analytical tools across different data sets
Mid-level knowledge of databases and their manipulation specifically Oracle and Access required.
Ability to handle/ manipulate CRM system information, combining customer information across data sets including but not limited to sales revenue and sub-segment sales revenue, volume reports, service data, etc.
Demonstrated competence leveraging forecasting systems, budget analysis and database analytics to create reliable predictive tools
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Ability to influence and engage senior executives
Team and customer focus a must
