Manage the Corporate risk management domestic casualty claims portfolio to optimized outcomes and financial results, with the primary purposes of:
Directing the Corporation's claims management approach in a firm, fair and consistent manner to achieve optimized case resolution outcomes,
Controlling the Corporation's Consumer Product's Group's financial exposure to domestic workers compensation, auto liability, products liability and general liability claims and the related litigation,
Communicating on a regular basis with Mars's Consumer Product's Group's business units regarding their claims experience, associated costs and opportunities/techniques for improvement, and
Serve as subject matter and process expert, to non-traditional Consumer Product Group business units and banners.
Maintain favorable relationships with Mars's insurers and brokers, claims and litigation support vendors and managing the performance of external claim adjusting firms
Ensure state-of-the-art claims process by constant exploration and analysis of industry product, process and service development.
What are we looking for?
BA or BS degree, preferably with an Insurance or Business major.
MBA Finance or Graduate Degree in Risk Management would be considered a plus.
Advantageous to have completed the AIC, ARM and/or CPCU designations from the American Insurance Institute.
Minimum of three to five years of increasing responsibility for management of domestic casualty claims in a progressive risk management department of a major multi-national manufacturing corporation, third-party claims administration firm, major brokerage firm or insurance company. Experience should include responsibility for all the various aspects of a domestic casualty claims program, including expertise in workers compensation, auto liability and general liability claims management. Work experience that has involved consultation with factory locations and familiarity within a manufacturing environment is important, versus working exclusively in a corporate office environment.
What will be your key responsibilities?
. The position is responsible for the indirect oversight and direction of the domestic casualty insurer, Liberty Mutual, national claims administration team of 10 claim adjusters who are to managing Mars domestic casualty claims
Lead the CPG insurable claim to 3d parties
Grow into managing all CPG claims.
