YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Assistant General Counsel, are to:
Provide legal advice on the patentability of inventions, infringement of patents of copyrights, and the validity of trademarks;
Prepare applications for patents, copyrights and trademarks, and files applications with the U.S. patent office and other patent offices globally;
Be a recognized company authority pertaining to patent matters of major importance;
Execute worldwide patent strategy;
Manage Preparation and Prosecution of patent applications around the world;
Counsel for Non-Disclosure, Joint Development and License Agreements;
Provide support for corporate business development and due diligence activities;
Provide Freedom to Operate advice on new technologies and products;
Manage enforcement of patents.

Required Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree with at least 10 years of experience and admittance to the State and Patent;
Knowledge to provide in-depth legal counsel on the corporation's most complex patent matters;
High Level of Computer Literacy and Functionality;
Able to work independently and exercise judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Registered Patent Attorney.
