Regional Category Buyer - HR Services (Florham Park, NJ) BASF Corporation is seeking a Regional Category Buyer HR Services (Florham Park, NJ) to negotiate and monitor contracts for Human Resources. Issue purchase orders and assist internal business partners to utilize the correct buying channels. Monitor supplier performance metrics and resolve claims and disputes. Gather and analyze market intelligence research by interacting with key suppliers, industry associations, and internal stakeholders to collect industry relevant information and rationalization to assess impact to BASFs current and future businesses. Develop and implement procurement strategies for business services. Make recommendations for the current market and forecast future market conditions. Carry out the Procurement process that includes Plan-to-Strategy, Source-to-Contract, and Procure-to-Pay. Support delegated area of HR (medical). Part-time local telecommuting permitted. 15% domestic travel required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requires an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in the HR industry. Experience must include: understanding the HR and Travel market, forecasting market conditions and supplier capabilities in both the U.S. and Canada; understanding of the temp agency markets and expectations; contracting and contract types for services; negotiating different contract values; managing projects; knowledge of Procure to Pay, Source to Contract, and Plan to Strategy; MSP (Managed Service Provider), RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing), and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing); procurement tools and purchasing operations and systems; and SAP tools including Ariba, CLM and SPS.
