MISSION :
According to the BU's policy, the Project Development Manager :
Lead the development of several projects of products intended to be made by one or several plants of Groupe SEB, or to be sourced at a supplier of Groupe SEB, respecting the engagements of time, cost and quality according to the objectives fixed by the VPM and VPI, and materialized in the Product File RP1.
Coordinate and federate the project's actors around shared objectives
Participate in the definition of pots & pans project's objectives (consolidated in the file RP1 or in the marketing's request)
Identify the project's risks and propose an action plan allowing to address them
Formalized Projects that are entrusted according to general objectives, appropriate them and motivate the team
Define steps of the project and define a project plan, integrating the needs of all stakeholders and follow it (Planning, boards, appraisal, results, correctives action).
Define and verify validation of the Project's development means (resources, investments)
Assure product development according to product file's specifications and project's EMQS
Assure the achievement of objectives (cost, quality and time) respecting the development process
Manage the quotations and their follow-up during all the development process
Develop a trusted environment within the team and promote blossoming of each team member
Assure communication of information with members of the team based in SEB Asia / Supor / France (BU)
Animate projects reviews in a participative and structured way
Assure reporting for validation of chosen options by the team. Decide on complex points (risks) related to the achievement of key objectives
Push and monitor significant and regular operational savings in terms of Total Cost : Price, Quality, Lead time, for new and current business
Leverage existing knowledge on each project (TC12) and ensure learnigns are documented and shared
Take in consideration principles of health, security, sustainable development and eco-conception applicable to the project
Bring necessary support to Quality and Logistics teams in the resolution of important projects that might appear after RP5.
PROFILE:
Engineering degree or equivalent level gained through professional experience, 3 years minimum in product development with experience in projects Management. Or having proved, with experience within the group, a capacity to handle simple projects
Know and apply with rigor methods and piloting tools of the project (actors' role, management of planning, budgets, resources, meetings animation, validation and decision making, action plan, etc ...)
General knowledge of marketing concepts and markets linked to the product (consumptions, competition)
Have a solid knowledge of product (performance, construction, circle of life)
Capacity to convince, listen, argue, influence (in and out hierarchy), federate, favor common propositions, synergies, collaboration (conduct of meetings, clear communication, inform, explain)
Capacity to define priorities and maintain focus in the short and medium-term
Capacity to fix objectives, delegate, and develop a person
Stay on course with tenacity and overcome failures
Capacity to share knowledge
General Knowledge on quality tools: AMDEC, analyze of value, experience plans, conception reviews
Rigor, Autonomy, Conceptual and Analytical skills, Pragmatism, openness, Creativity, Reactivity.
Good capacity of global vision and influence, and resilience to stress
Capacity to delegate and follow up appropriately to achieve results
Up to 50% travels, including international trips for extended periods
Chinese/French as a second language will be an advantage.
