Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Analytics, this position provides strong analytical and technical support to the Trade team, who manage all product contracts across all business segments. This will primarily be achieved by gathering, transforming, and integrating multiple data sets to attain analytics that drive action. The Business Performance Analyst will be responsible for performing quantitative analysis to model impact to profitability and growth.
As the Business Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and implementing regular Commercial model reporting and analysis. The incumbent will collaborate with the Finance, Contracting, and Sales teams to perform both routine and ad hoc analysis to gain insights. Additionally, you will conduct market research to present in depth analysis in a clear, concise, and comprehensible fashion. The Sr Business Performance Analyst will encompass a combination of technical and analytical skills to drive insightful report generation in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leverage business analytics to assist Leadership in making informed decisions.
Responsible for generating and maintaining business statistical analysis.
Track and Monitor Trade KPIs to ensure within expected tolerance.
Understand and present on key business drivers.
Perform market research and analysis as required.
Evaluate new business opportunities and revert with key findings.
Assist in driving digital transformation of business analytics.
Partner with cross functional business teams.
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in any of the STEM/CS disciplines: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, including Computer Science
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analytics and modeling.
Understand fundamental models and methods of analytics, and how/when to apply them.
Working knowledge and functional literacy in critical statistical modeling strategies to maximize impact.
Ability to build automated reports in Excel and other data visualization tools
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Dashboarding.
Ability to write complex queries against multiple data sets preferred.
An understanding of relational databases and data warehouses preferred.
