Project Manager - Product Control
As a Barclays Project Manager, you will serve as a Change Lead for the Finance Control organization, ensuring successful delivery of critical programs while meeting the outcomes signed off by Business. You will work with Business Analysts and interact directly with finance controllers to understand their needs, ensure that there are enough resources to implement them, and execute the delivery plans by working closely with the technical team.

What will you be doing?
\* Working across multiple groups including business, change function, technology, Business Analysis, PMO, Run the Bank (RTB) to create sound project plans
\* Ensuring projects are delivered within budgets and the scope is managed pro-actively
\* Managing large programs on behalf of Finance tech organization across Front Office (FO) and Markets space ensuring that all the dependencies are managed
\* Navigating through challenges across SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, testing (particularly UAT) and release
\* Holding regular project calls including working group, status reporting, steering committee meetings to provide a clear and concise project status to a wide range of stakeholders
\* Escalating challenges to senior management as required and ensure their timely resolution
\* Working with business, tech teams, and RTB to create functional release runbooks to support business and functional releases go through smoothly
\* Ensuring project governance is in place and compliant at all times with the SCIM standards
What we're looking for:
\* Significant change management and Project Manager experience with decent amount of experience in Investment Banking space
\* Understanding of financial data construct in the form of a Trial Balance or a Balance Sheet along with understanding of how P&L is calculated
\* At least 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing organization wide programs across the Investment Banking space
\* Excellent communication skills with an ability to manage senior stakeholders both on tech and business end
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* A 4-year bachelor's degree or an equivalent in technology and / or finance space
\* Knowledge of accounting and finance space through a master's degree or a certifications or extensive experience
\* In-depth understanding of capital markets area with preferably specific experience in Product Control or Finance Control space
\* Ability to build and nurture key relationship across various groups
