As a Barclays Program Manager you will provide program management capabilities to a variety of strategic delivery infrastructure projects in the Americas region. Additionally, you will support the regional Director of Strategic Delivery for Workplace and Collaboration. In this role you will partner with Global Business Management, regional Human Resources, and Global Technology Infrastructure Services leadership to manage resource demand, identify process efficiencies, and support strategic initiatives.

What will you be doing?
\* Leading teams to define, document and deliver large programs to agreed timelines and cost while maintaining alignment with the technology roadmap and wider business strategy
\* Leading Business Case creation to ensure that programs achieve delivery which will enable our colleagues to be more productive within their roles
\* Being responsible for identifying, assessing and managing risk to the success of the program
\* Developing and maintaining robust project plans providing regular and accurate reports on progress against plan to stakeholders as appropriate
\* Ensuring the appropriate contingency lens is used when planning so that ad hoc business demand can be absorbed without causing resourcing challenges.
\* Ability to be dynamic and pivot approach based on Portfolio and wider Business need
\* Building and maintaining relationships with our cross functional teams to ensure that project scope is maintained and that change control procedures are adhered to
\* Collaborating and own vendor relationships to ensure all external activities are captured in project plan and delivered to a successful outcome
What we're looking for:
\* Demonstrative experience delivering technology infrastructure change projects
\* Experience managing and influencing resources outside of team including third parties
\* Exceptional working knowledge of project management methodologies
\* Competent with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Proven experience in delivering value-added services through structure and relationships
\* Able to inspire and develop other project managers and project analysts within the team
\* Able to identify risks, issues and dependencies and can perform analysis on value at risk and mitigation options across a project.
\* Master of negotiation and conflict resolution to maintain a dialogue in difficult situations, across wide reaching cross functional teams
