Treasury Risk Oversight Vice President

Whippany, NJ

As a Barclays Treasury Risk Oversight Vice President, you will be responsible for independently driving forward one or multiple projects. You will provide advice on the liquidity risk of individual transactions, approve new products from a liquidity risk point of view, and approve transactions that could result in a liquidity risk for the firm. You will provide insights into the management of Treasury and Capital Risks to support businesses, entity Treasuries and senior management outcomes.

What will you be doing?

\* You will be responsible for independently driving forward projects to improve our liquidity risk framework

\* Supporting the development of our liquidity risk management framework, including establishing / refining limits, targets and policies

\* Providing oversight, review and challenge of first line's processes (MTP, IST, Management Actions, Recovery and Resolution)

\* Monitoring and providing expert coverage of designated liquidity risk driver

\* Evaluating the TCR control landscape, developing and proposing new control processes where necessary

\* Supporting the development of our data infrastructure and analytical processes

What we're looking for:

\* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management

\* Quantitative nature

\* Decision making and problem solving skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

\* Previous work experience and understanding on various Treasury functions: balance sheet management, funding and liquidity, capital management

\* Business acumen with working understanding of Secured Financing, Prime Brokerage and Derivatives

\* Previous work experience on stress testing, limits setting and management
