Regulatory Report Data Analyst

As a Barclays Regulatory Report Data Analyst you will work within Finance, the U.S. Regulatory and Financial Data Reporting group to drive improvements in data enrichment and working with attribute owners. You will help to limit data omissions as this information is utilized by U.S. Regulatory and Financial Reporting. You will need to be flexible and help Legal Entity Controllers & Regulatory Reporting personal in their daily work, come up with IT solutions if needed and be well rounded.

What will you be doing?
\* Working closely with the Finance, RegReporting, Focus, RegCap teams and assist with data clean up and projects, locally and globally
\* Liaising with all stakeholders including tech/ops partners and drive the data clean-up activities and projects as well as process optimization/automation opportunities
\* Ensuring proper review and sign off of project artefacts are completed, signed off and stored
\* Providing/generating reports that highlights compliance to procedures and exposes data quality issues
\* Managing Ad hoc requests that support the production teams, IT, etc
\* Assisting change Management in developing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)
\* Assisting in the data gap assessment to support various regulatory and financial reports
What we're looking for:
\* Bachelor of Science/Business Administration degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
\* Four plus years of experience in the Banking/Finance industry
\* Excel & PowerPoint
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* CPA beneficial
\* Public accounting audit experience
\* Financial product knowledge
\* Detail oriented and analytical - able to work efficiently with spreadsheets and solve problems with minimal guidance
