Full Stack Engineer
Whippany
As a Barclays Full Stack Engineer, you will report to the Digital Engineering Lead for the US Consumer Market being built out of Whippany location. Partnering closely with the business product partners, this role will be critical to developing the Bank Digital channels capabilities. Bringing with you a proven background in the technologies and architectural approaches associated with large scale corporate digital transformation, specifically focused on customer facing applications.

What will you be doing?
\* Designing, writing and delivering software to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of Digital services
\* Designing, developing and implementing Web Application for customer's use
\* Developing code, writing Unit tests, resolving defects and providing proper documentation for engineering and customer services purposes
\* Ensuring code developed meets the quality and security standards followed within the digital team
\* Actively working with the QA team to resolve defects fix problems with good quality
\* Establishing and maintaining build pipeline to support Digital development teams
\* You will be responsible for the development of digital products (different than that of business product)
\* Building automation to prevent problem recurrence. Automate response for all non-exceptional service conditions
What we're looking for:
\* Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
\* Experience working at large financial services organizations
\* Design, creation, and implementation of Customer facing applications that can scale to millions of users
\* Three+ years of experience working on large scale projects
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Experience with IaaS and PaaS providers such as AWS, OpenStack, Heroku, and CloudFoundry
\* Experience with implementing test-drive development in large development teams
\* A sense of ownership, initiative, and drive
\* Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment processes and tools such as Artifactory, Gerrit, Git, Jenkins, Maven and Nexus
