Client Management Transaction Verifier

As a Barclays Client Management Transaction Verifier, you will have responsibility for and ownership of proactively reviewing the transactional closing, booking and long term asset management of a portfolio of both investment grade and non-investment grade loan transactions. In this highly collaborative role, you will be working with colleagues in the front office in a variety of ways. You will be assisting in the routine operational support along the transaction closing cycle.

What will you be doing?
\* Reviewing the daily Client Management workflow for the loan transactions where Barclays is a lead agent or lender participant
\* Reviewing closing documentation to ensure it meets operational requirements
\* Managing teams' performance to ensure all financial closings are properly positioned to fund (as necessary) following engagement with the GLG Group, Syndicate and Credit Risk
\* Ensuring all appropriate committee approvals, credit risk sanctions, loan documentation, and KYC are complete
\* Reviewing legal loan documentation and ensure it meets operational requirements where applicable for agented
\* Ensuring covenant diaries and financial covenants are keyed properly into LISTT according to the credit agreement for asset management purposes
\* Managing the associated closing process utilizing internal systems and checklists to complete the setup of a transaction profile
\* Validating the processing of amendments/ waivers and consent requests from Borrowers which are technical in nature
What we're looking for:
\* Bachelor's Degree
\* 5+ years of experience in loan operations
\* 5+ years of banking/finance industry experience
\* Capability to review and understand loan documentation, letter of credit product and lending transactions
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Ability to review legal loan documentation and ensure it meets operational requirements for agented and participation transactions
\* A high level of attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
\* Verbal and written communication skills
\* Ability to work very independently and take full ownership of defined tasks and be resourceful to address questions
