US Technology Command Center Manager

As a Barclays US Technology Command Center Manager you will be a deterministic yet considerate decision maker influencing the behaviours and priorities of the wider organisation. The Global Command Centre Manager will lead all relevant internal and external audit engagements as well as partake in evidence gathering and interpretation requests from external regulators. On top of championing an in-depth operational knowledge of Incident Management practices, role holder will also play an active role in supporting the execution of the wider business IT strategy through close interactions with various Business Units. One will also work very closely with leads of key infrastructure technology areas to provide guidance and recommendations on infrastructure change payload, schedule and associated risks/opportunities involved. Needless to say, the role holder will use one's expertise in other ITSM processes to ensure smooth user journey across key ITIL disciplines.

What will you be doing?
\* Providing leadership at all times to our global Technology Command Centre resources
\* The Command Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations
\* Maintaining the staff and the physical construct of the command centres as well as the logical operations of those command centres including but not limited to the enforcement of the key ITIL Processes (specifically Change, Incident, and Problem Management) as well as the overall monitoring, triage and recovery
\* Creating and maintain an environment where 360-degree feedback is supported
\* Empowering teams and individuals to deliver change, whilst providing support and direction
\* Overseeing delivery of Command Centre service offerings through all TCC teams and functions. Whilst acting as Duty Manager, provide single point of escalation
What we're looking for:
\* Strong proven experience of building and managing global technical functions across multiple geographic locations and cultures
\* Evidence of SME leadership role in at least one infrastructure or application technology
\* Experience of leading large scale strategic operational transformation programmes
\* Able to create executive level communications in relation to ongoing Major Incident / Crisis situations.
