Platform Developer
Whippany
As a Barclays Platform Developer, you will support in the development and delivery of the ChatBot UI widget and the web service UI for BotFactory chatbot platform used by various areas within the firm. The role will be involved in all aspects of analysis, design, implementation and deployment of all the UI software related to the BotFactory platform. BotFactory platform is widely used within the firm to develop AI/ML domain specific ChatBots across variety of areas.

What will you be doing?
\* Participating in design and implementation of high quality software and infrastructure for the BotFactory platform in areas related to UX/UI
\* Participating in implementation of software automation in regarding to testing, building and deployment of software infrastructure related to BotFactory UX/UI
\* Providing technical support to the ChatBot owners to successfully integrate the Chatbot into their respective platforms in the areas of UX/UI
\* Participating and contributing to the overall BotFactory platform improvement and innovation
What we're looking for:
\* Working knowledge in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript libraries and frameworks: ReactJS/TypeScript
\* Working knowledge related to application state management and UI store using Redux
\* Working knowledge of Micro Service Architecture, including hands on experience in design, build and operate distributed applications
\* Familiarity in GIT and use of trunk-based development, conducting peer reviews and merging practices
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Ability to work in a small team
\* Experience in agile delivery methodologies
\* Python and AI related knowledge
\* REST APIs Design Skill
