As a Barclays Delivery Manager, you will assist and provide input to Transformation Programs and Solutions Design and Delivery (SDD) engineers, liaising between Business and Technical Areas as required. In this pivotal role, you will plan and agree project activities alongside business areas, suppliers and 3rd parties. You will also manage quotation and procurement process for Network deliverables for both project and BAU infrastructure upgrades and track orders through to delivery to Data Centre/Campus.

What will you be doing?
\* Deploying new network kit to both Data Centre and Campus locations within Barclays
\* You will be the primary contact between the project and the virtual engineering teams, both internal and external
\* Ensuring that appropriately skilled and experienced resources are appointed in line with the requirements of the project
\* Ensuring that project status reporting is accurate and timely and that any risk to timescales are highlighted at the earliest opportunity
\* Ensuring that all costs identified receive approval from the project / BAU team at both Director / Financial Business Partner level
\* Ensuring that all communication within the virtual team is clear and precise, and that all documentation is up-to-date
\* Running multiple deliveries concurrently whilst remaining focussed and maintaining a meticulous eye for detail
\* Ensuring that all deliveries are completed in accordance with Project, Governance and Control procedures
What we're looking for:
\* Experience of successfully managing IT project deliverables to short timescales in a project / programme environment and escalating any issues to the stakeholders
\* Proven experience of working effectively with internal and external suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and in line with the budget
\* Experience of leading and motivating virtual teams (engineers, project managers, transition managers, etc.) within an IT project/programme environment
\* Experience of managing and influencing stakeholders, achieving high levels of stakeholder satisfaction through setting and meeting / exceeding realistic targets
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Experience working with workload management tools (Examples: Navigator, JIRA, etc.)
\* Experience in working in IT Infrastructure or Application teams within the Financial Services sector
\* Knowledge of ITIL disciplines
\* Broad understanding of Network technologies including routing and switching, firewalls and load balancing
