Delphi Java Developer

As a Barclays Delphi Java Developer, you will join the Exception Management technology team who are responsible for building and enhancing the next generation of exception and workflow management. You will be designing and developing strategic exception management platform and enhancements to the current application. To ensure solutions are fit for purpose, you will be interacting with the users to understand issues/feedback.

What will you be doing

\* Building, optimizing and maintaining high volume, and low latency business critical exception management systems

\* Building highly available and performance oriented Java Microservices based applications

\* Delivering business requirement end to end across various modules.

\* Writing and maintaining unit tests and BDD tests

\* Integrating backend webservice calls

\* Troubleshooting issues and solve problems as and when needed

What we're looking for:

\* Expertise in design and development for Java based microservices application

\* Expertise in Spring framework, Apache Camel framework

\* Experience working with high volume and low latency business critical systems

\* Working knowledge of Rest API development and testing.

Skills that will help you in the role:

\* communication and collaboration skills

\* Knowledge of Elastic stack

\* Experience working in cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes and Openshift

\* Knowledge of Teamcity / Jenkins build tools
