Application Support Lead - Treasury and Liquidity
As a Barclays Application Support Lead in the Risk, Finance, and Treasury (RFT) Group Technology Service Management (GTSM) team, you will manage the Risk Decision and Sanctioning service that is used by Barclays US Consumer Bank (USCB). This role is responsible for providing L2 level application support coverage to ensure delivery of products offered by the USCB business. You will take ownership of incidents and queries raised by the business and perform investigations with the cooperation of other internal GTSM, development, and Vendor Support teams to provide a solution.

What will you be doing?
\* Providing L1/L2 level application support and service management
\* Leading the RFT GTSM team for Risk Decision and Sanctioning service
\* Ensuring availability, performance stability, and disaster resiliency continuity of the service as well as managing major incidents for service outage and performance degradation
\* Providing solutions to incidents and queries raised by the business
\* Delivering regulatory and auditory requests in a timely manner
\* Improving management of the production stack through automation and monitoring improvement identification
\* Maintaining relationship with business to understand their requirement changes, service delivery concerns and manage expectations
\* Maintaining vendor relationship to escalate incident investigations and resolution implementation
What we're looking for:
\* 4-year college degree, in Computer Science or related field.
\* Hands-on experience in application support, preferably in the credit business, consumer bank, or investment bank
\* Detailed knowledge of Linux, SQL, scheduling tools (TWS,Autosys), basic computer networks
\* A keen interest and understanding of financial markets and products, specifically consumer banking products
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Experience in Experian platforms such as PowerCurve Origination or Transact
\* Significant product knowledge around consumer banking, investment banking, and credit business preferred
\* Service oriented and able to follow the processes in delivering the KPIs
\* Experience in ITIL Service Delivery and Support, preferably with a formal ITIL qualification (or their equivalents)
