Senior Java Developer
Whippany, NJ
As a Barclays Senior Java Developer, you will work within a dedicated team of engineers to build, maintain and expand our technical solutions using Spring Boot with Spring MVC. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in all aspects of development to build out innovative solutions using latest technology stack.

What will you be doing?
\* Developing of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
\* Translating functional and technical requirements into technology solutions
\* Integrating components while pulling together data from various sources
\* Contributing in developing and maintaining a BDD based testing automation packs
\* Supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting production and non- production environments; minimizing impact to business
\* Helping resolve production issues to provide/implement tactical solutions to minimize impact to business followed by strategic solutions
\* Meeting firm-wide standards for code quality, security and engineering excellence
\* Providing support for the developed applications as needed
What we're looking for?
\* Extensive experience in designing and developing large scale technology solutions across different project methodologies
\* Experience with enterprise-scale systems using Java Enterprise, Spring, Hibernate, Angular/React JS
\* Thorough understanding of OOPS, Oracle, Mongo, Rest Web Services, Active MQ, Kafka type messaging tools and deeper understanding of public Cloud architectures
\* Previous experience with Salesforce
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Ability to understand business requirements and develop software solutions
\* Experience spring-cloud and micro service architecture is a plus
\* Solid data analysis skills and ability to present the findings to the business users
\* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with numerous tasks simultaneously and with frequently changing priorities
