Program Manager VP
Whippany, NJ
As a Barclays Program Manager, you will be joining the Product Control Change team within Risk, Finance, and Treasury (RFT) that supports the bank's Product Control and Finance Control functions. In your new role, you will cover several functional areas, including P&L and balance sheet reporting, Independent Price Verification (IPV), and MI reporting to senior management. You will be using your skills and expertise to support various initiatives including the designing & building of new technology solutions, business process re-engineering, and continuous improvement efforts.

What will you be doing?
\* Managing project teams engaged throughout the delivery lifecycle, business case through initiation, requirement analysis, design, build, testing, implementation and closure
\* Defining functional requirements, which reflect the business requirements and developing approaches to enable them to be delivered via process changes or technology solutions
\* Liaising with Risk, Finance, and Treasury Business Stakeholders to document business outcomes, functional specifications as product backlogs for new Finance initiatives
\* Defining detailed business and integration requirements using the Confluence/ Wiki based documentation approach aligned with an Agile/ sprint-based development methodology
\* Creating detailed GUI mock-ups and other visual requirements, as required, to be presented alongside user requirements to development/ feature teams and key business stakeholders
\* Collaborating and maintaining solid relationships within Finance, Risk, Treasury teams and stakeholders
\* Managing communications and documentation of projects and releases with in-depth understanding of agile methodology using JIRA and Confluence
\* Running governance status meeting and writing status reports to drive resolution of risks and issues and escalate to Senior Management on any missed deliverables
What we're looking for:
\* Bachelor's Degree in a Finance or related field (BA/BS)
\* Hands-on expertise as a Project Manager/ Business Analyst
\* Proficient with Business Analysis and Project Management tools as well as Agile software (JIRA, Agile Central)
\* Prior experience delivering large scale projects, including data analysis and modelling, as well as business process modelling
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Understanding of front to back finance and operational process flows and investment banking products and services
\* Ability to be able to take initiative, analyze, summarize, and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
\* A polished presence and ability to challenge opinions with confidence and professionalism
\* Prior experience with Senior Business Stakeholder Management
