The Global Engineering Operations (GEO) Team Lead provides strategic leadership to drive Engineering Operational Excellence and innovative technical solutions and processes to maximize PGS' supply chain potential within the Operational Engineering function.
The leader is responsible for the strategy development and execution of the integrated PGS ONE GEO Transformation Strategy ensuring optimized and standardized processes are implemented in conjunction with the Site Engineering Teams across the different GEO Programs:
Asset Life Cycle Management
Global Reliability
MRO/IM3
Utilities and Facilities Engineering
Integrated Facilities Management
Environmental Sustainability/Carbon Neutral
The leader manages a group of colleagues, providing technical and program leadership and knowledge to work with Site and Engineering leaders, Center functions e.g. Procurement, GEHS, Digital, Quality and IMEX, and others to deploy the right Program solutions at the sites based on Industry best in class standards and the individual sites maturity levels.
The GEO Leader will manage key Stakeholder engagement e.g OpU Leaders, Site Leaders and Site Engineering Leaders.
The leader also works other groups in Global Engineering (GE) and Global Technology & Engineering (GT&E) to ensure the success of engineering programs, initiatives, and technical support needed to support PGS supply chain.
Additionally, the leader will advance Global Engineering's mission to be a strategic business partner by providing quality, value-added, innovative solutions for Pfizer and engineering operations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
In alignment to the PGS OpUs business drivers, develop and execute the GEO strategy to ensure fully integrated Programs to maximize its efficiency while driving optimization and standardization across PGS
Develop and promote key Global Engineering strategies, primarily focused on GEO Programs Strategies
Educate and influence OpU, Site and Engineering Leadership to ensure GEO Program strategies are embedded in PGS OpUs strategies, while advocating for Program deployment enhancement & evolution. Demonstrate the value opportunity to accelerate the deployment of the appropriate GEO Program solutions to ensure sites embrace the beneficial solutions.
Provide technical and administrative guidance to GEO Program leads and team members to ensure optimum delivery
Ensure within teams that there is strong technical expertise in Engineering, Asset Management, including but not limited to Reliability, Maintenance, CMMS & Calibration, Utility Operations, Environmental Sustainability, Spare Parts and Storeroom Management, Utilities & Facilities Management, and Life Cycle Asset Management.
In partnership with Digital Management, provide strategic leadership to the development and execution of the CMMS/EAMS, WPM, etc. management team
Provide active leadership and guidance, and secure endorsement for the development and execution of the Environmental Sustainability Strategy. This includes the execution of the Utilities & Facilities Assessments and Master Plans. Active member of the Environmental Sustainability Core Team.
In partnership with Procurement Management, sponsor the IFM and MRO Program Management Offices (PMO), ensuring an effective development and execution of the expansion strategies, while transforming the PGS sites Utilities & Facilities operations within the corresponding scope of work.
Develop and implement a PGS Asset Life Cycle Management Program to transform asset management in our Network, by focusing on Total Cost of Ownership & Asset Life Cycle.
Develop a GEO Program Governance & Communications strategy to share metrics and performance data, foster and promote exchange of information and best practices
Apply new, innovative, and untried approaches to achieve targeted performance and results
Work with a variety of people and cultures to achieve targeted objectives and results, while applying effective communication and relationship building processes
Deliver operational and financial value through the execution of concrete chartered GEO Program initiatives, focused on specific OpU/sites needs
Ensure a robust talent planning process is in place in Global Engineering and across the engineering teams at the sites; provide input on career development opportunities for Engineering colleagues across the network
Assess performance at sites to ensure compliance and identify enhancements
Prepare and control the team annual budget
Be an active member of the Global Engineering Leadership Team and provide input to the overall engineering strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors' Degree in Engineering
Masters' Degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
Min 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with relevant experience in Site Engineering and Engineering Operations,
Must have prior responsibility related to Global Engineering Operations programs, specifically within Global Reliability and Maintenance areas.
The candidate must have experience of Program Management within large multi-national corporate entity and come with the proven capability of effectively implementing business strategies and working collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership, communications skills, and influencing capabilities are critical skills required for this job.
Proven technical skills must be demonstrated by the candidate.
