The VMI Analyst role exists to provide a strong relationship with the customer. It provides benefits to the customer such as; reduced inventory and increased turns, reduced out of stocks and increased sales as well as reduced administrative costs. It allows our organization to run a leaner Supply Chain while utilizing the customers' sales and forecasting data. This role is expected to make critical decisions and recommendations impacting both the customer and MWC finished goods inventory. The individual must balance maximizing in-stock goals while minimizing inventory levels. Effective influencing of the customer, our Sales account team, and our internal Supply teams is critical to the effectiveness of this role.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years' experience in Supply Chain analytics or Operations Management or Customer-facing role.
Ability to travel (20%) as required.
Must be able to work flexible hours.

What will be your key responsibilities?
Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict and enhance supply chain processes
Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations that support supply/demand planning and operations
Understand customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) including weeks of supply (WOS), Store in-stocks and service level. Analyze results and recommend actions to improve.
In short supply situations, work with CSCMs, CLRs, CPFR Managers and Replenishment Analysts to develop and execute a plan that optimizes our ability to meet customer demand.
Communicate large volume (GSV) shifts to Sales, Demand and Supply Planning to enable quality decision making as it relates to mutual benefits for our customers (internal and external) and our business. Leads End-to-End Customer Collaboration process with a focus on service metric improvements, product allocations, inventory analysis, and mutually beneficial, efficient supply chain solutions
