Overview
Participates as a member of the Community Support Services Team. Delivers in home and community skills teaching, provides crisis intervention, counseling and support services to consumers of mental health services in an effort to prevent hospitalization, reduce risk of homelessness, promote connections to community of choice and unnecessary use of psychiatric screening and psychiatric emergency services to adults. Rotates on call coverage for evenings and weekends to clients that may need extra support.
Responsibilities
Participates as a member of the Enhanced Outpatient Team to provide crisis intervention, counseling and support services to consumers of mental health services in an effort to prevent hospitalization and unnecessary use of psychiatric screening and psychiatric emergency services. Provides care to adult clients under the direction of supervising staff.
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health science from an accredited institution.
Valid Driver's License - Legally Required; Policy Requirement.
Defensive Driving Course - Policy Requirement.
