Research Analyst, Probability Panels, provides support for the Probability Panel assets and project management teams within US Public Affairs. The role will focus on both management and execution of panel recruitment, engagement and quality initiatives as well as basic survey research project management.

Essential Job Functions

Test, implement, and maintain panel processes and applications to ensure operational tasks are carried out according to project specifications

Update and maintain key metrics and reporting; analyze and present findings on panel health

Assist with recruitment material updates and development of high-quality panelist communications

Support the implementation and analysis of panel initiatives such as recruitment, incentive, retention, and prompting experiments

Collaborate with the broader team on data flows and troubleshooting issues impacting our panel systems and surveys

Coordinate aspects of the research process such as questionnaire design and survey QC

Fulfill research needs such as data appends, response rate calculations, and ad-hoc panel information requests

Identify opportunities for process efficiency and automation across the panel member lifecycle and assist with execution

Required Skills and Abilities

Experience with data management, analysis, and reporting using large datasets

Ability to work comfortably with and comprehend quantitative and qualitative data

Familiarity with statistics and interest in public policy and social science research

Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to well-developed interpersonal skills

Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information

Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects/tasks within tight deadlines

Understanding of survey methodology and research a plus

Any programming skills an asset, with 1+ years of SAS/SPSS desirable

Experience in project management and/or proficiency in Spanish or HTML a plus

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

BA/BS required (Social Sciences preferred)
