The position holder will be responsible as the foremost US based quality lead on the Schindler S7000 high-rise product.
S/he will lead the evaluation and application of new and existing installations performance improvements, while working independently and alongside construction, maintenance, service and engineering personnel.
S/he will analyze, determine, and oversee the fulfilment of global and domestic solutions, to enhance product performance, reliability, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
S/he will interact with both internal and external customers, and provide technical feedback, support, and analysis to operations, engineering, R&D and other stakeholders.
Building sustainable improvement, s/he will drive installation quality and long-term reliability, while tracking and evaluating project costs to meet initiative goals.

represent the Schindler brand in all peer and end user experiences
provide detailed reports and written analysis to vested and approved stake holders
leverage professional oral, written, and digital communication both on and off site
develop and conduct technical learning to enrich the knowledge and skills of others
lead and track project initiatives to drive product quality improvements
develop and revise defect prevention procedures in product design and/or applications
evaluate commissioned equipment and introduce enhancements that improve MTBC
analyze systemic equipment weakness and present resolution strategies to management
evaluate and advise service methods improvements to reduce on site requirements
solve complex product design, application, manufacturing, installation, and service issues
perform detailed root cause analysis of problematic or systemic product performance issues
support lower-level employees in the evaluation and resolution of malfunctioning apparatus
secure and maintain the proper advanced diagnostic equipment whenever required
ensure documented reporting of resolution and sharing of best practices across SEC
Safety & Quality:
uphold all requirements as expert in S7000 SAIS readiness, procedures, and fulfilment
ensure employee and passenger safety standards in all direct and associated activities, both on and off site
evaluate and advise installation methods improvements to advance product standards
identify, resolve, or escalate any product or methods deficiencies that negatively affect the integrity of an installation, our employees, or the Schindler brand
ensure the timely fulfilment and tracking of all applicable product integrity warranties
evaluate new technologies for potential application in the product
recommend product specification requirements to meet customer needs and company goals
steward fastidious task management to meet project timelines and technical objectives
prepare and conduct technical learning courses for internal and external client enrichment
develop and maintain a network of domestic and international support expertise
Expert knowledge of elevator design characteristics and ability to understand complex equipment issues. S/he must be knowledgeable in current codes and standards and understand how they are applied to performance and quality.
Expert process management experience and proficiency supporting others in developing their skills in analysis and resolution of equipment malfunctions. S/he must be willing to develop and educate others while continuing to educate him/herself.
Proficient in customer service situations and able to communicate using a full range of available analytics. S/he must organize clear, concise, and confident arguments in both informative and decision-making scenarios. Must have excellent oral and written capabilities.
Experience in evaluating competitor and future technologies. S/he must actively research and advise integration and development of innovative solutions that promote efficiency, quality, customer service, and performance.
Capable and adept at recognizing, respecting a promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. Through direct actions and teamwork, s/he must respect and conduct him/herself in an inclusive manor, incorporating same in workplace actions, solutions, and strategies.
