Successful applicant will be joining a team of dedicated engineers and professionals. You will ultimately be 100% responsible for your projects, from detailed design through purchasing and fabrication to final installation.
A typical project consists of preparing calculations and submittal drawings using SolidWorks 3D software. Communicating with the customer and coordinating the approval of the submittal. Preparing 100% fabrication drawings and installation drawings. Purchasing all materials and subcontract fabrication requirements. Coordinating with the customer on delivery and installation, arranging freight and coordinating the field crew and travel. Traveling to site and kicking off the installation. Upon completion of the project you will provide training to the customer's personnel and provide close out documents. You will not have to be onsite to install the doors, but you will be there at the end to see what you have created.
